Education

The University of Florida provides multiple options for educational assistance outside of seminars and workshops offered on campus. Programs are available for faculty and staff and, in some cases, for dependents of faculty and staff.

Employee Education Program

The Employee Education Program, or EEP, is an opportunity funded by university resources that enables full-time UF Academic Personnel, TEAMS employees, and USPS employees who have been employed in good standing for at least six months to receive tuition assistance for up to six credit hours of instruction per semester at the state university closest to their work location.

Higher Education Opportunity for Children of TEAMS Employees

The Higher Education Opportunity for Children of TEAMS Employees provides children of full-time TEAMS employees with the opportunity of tuition assistance for an undergraduate education at the University of Florida

Tuition Exchange Program

The Tuition Exchange Program, or TE, is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for the dependents of eligible faculty and staff at all 645+ member schools. Through The Tuition Exchange, member colleges and universities offer an average of 6,000 scholarship awards annually. Each member school sets its own policies and procedures for determining eligibility and requirements for scholarships. Dependent children of full-time, permanent status employees are eligible to apply.

State Tuition Fee Waiver

Full-time state employees who have been admitted to a degree or non-degree seeking status are eligible for a fee waiver of up to six credits of UF courses per academic semester.
