Pharmacy Leadership Academy Shaping Future Leaders: Core Leadership Self-Development Primer:Certain core principles are essential knowledge to achieve leadership momentum and initiatives. The Primer addresses critical principles that transcend individual leadership competencies, forming a conceptual framework for learning and application of leadership principles in contemporary health care environments. Key concepts include systems thinking, alignment, visioning and purposing, strategic leadership, the human side of change and leadership, nimbleness and organizational savvy, negotiation skills, trust and relationship building, and difficult people.

Pharmacy Leadership Institute: The Pharmacy Leadership Institute offers a select group of health-system pharmacy leaders the opportunity to learn from highly acclaimed tenured professors at Boston University’s School of Management Executive Leadership Center. The Institute is designed to develop inspirational leaders, energize accomplished clinicians and managers with new insights and equip participants for the roles of executive leader, coach, teacher, motivator and strategist.
