License and Registration

Driver Licenses & ID Cards – Driver licenses, driving tests, and ID Cards can be obtained through one of the three Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles offices at 12 SE First Street, 5801 NW 34th Blvd., or 3837 Windmeadows Blvd. Appointments can be made online. For more information about renewing or obtaining a Driver Licenses, International Driving Permit, or Florida ID Card at the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle website.

Motor Vehicle Services – Registration, tag, and title services for cars, trucks, trailers, vessels and mobile homes and specialty tags and disability parking permits are available at Motor Vehicle Services. Recreational License and Permits – Recreational licenses and permits for residents and nonresidents are available at the county tax collector’s office and some sporting goods stores selling hunting or fishing equipment.

Voter Registration – Register to vote in person at the Supervisor of Elections office, pick up a form at the library, or download an official application to sign and return.
